Re: Question about PotStickers

Sauteed in a pan is probably the fastest way to take them from frozen to heated.  However, I would opt for heating in the oven. If you thaw them a bit before heating they should only take 10-minutes at around 350-degrees to warm up.

Re: Question about PotStickers

[ Edited ]

Sometimes I pan fry them as other posts have described but more often than not I make a soup.  Chicken broth, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and/or shallots, green onion and the potstickers (and  bok choy if I have some).

Re: Question about PotStickers

This is untraditional but I tried making them in my air fryer, and they turned out great. Just experiment with times to make them to your taste.

Re: Question about PotStickers

From their website:

Microwave
Cover 10 potstickers loosely with wet paper towel and heat on high for 2 minutes. Turn the potstickers over and heat for an additional 2 minutes. Potstickers will be heated through, but not browned.
Pan Fry
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in non-stick frying pan to medium heat. Place frozen potstickers in the frying pan. Cook until bottom of potstickers are slightly brown. Add 1/4 cup water to the pan, cover immediately, and cook on high heat. Turn to medium heat when most of the water has evaporated. Continue to cook until all the water has evaporated and the bottom of the potstickers are golden brown.
Steam
Boil water in steam cooker. Line the steamer with cabbage or lettuce leaves. Place the frozen potstickers in the steamer on top of the leaves. Cover steamer and cook for approximately 15 minutes, until potstickers are done.

Re: Question about PotStickers

I boil them first, than pan fry with sauce.
