Nice thought, but don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen. They'd have to have someone check every recipe to make sure it isn't copyrighted. Sorry if I ruined your idea.

I've read that recipes can't be copyrighted. See:

Well, alright then. Kudos to anyone here who has the time & technical expertise to compile a collection of posters' recipes here.

I like the monthly recaps but they just go from ingredient to ingredient so it's hard to find a breakfast dish for example.

Re: QVC forum needs to create a cookbook or database for all the recipes we post.

Why not just save to your computer and/or print the ones that appeal to you? That's what I would do.

Sometimes people just put basic instructions and then somebody ends up publishing the recipes and you had no idea they were going to do that. Had I known that, in one case that comes to mind, I would have done a better job of writing it out. As it ended up, I felt embarrassed that something I shared ended up on some list when it was just a basic set of vague instructions I was sharing at the time.

But it would be quite the job for somebody, or QVC (which is not going to happen), to go through and make a whole list of everybody's recipes. I'd just save what appeals to me.

I cut and paste the ones I like to Word, then print them as PDF docs. It's a good system, but it would be nice if we had an easier way to search for recipes we might have missed, or weren't interested in earlier, but are now.
