Nice thought, but don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen. They'd have to have someone check every recipe to make sure it isn't copyrighted. Sorry if I ruined your idea.

I've read that recipes can't be copyrighted. See:

I think that would be great only if there were reviews like on AllRecipes.com.

I wish AllRecipes would come out with a cookbook with all of their 5 star recipes. I would buy it for sure. Or maybe 4.5 stars on up.

Re: QVC forum needs to create a cookbook or database for all the recipes we post.

Our recipes are our own.....BUT.....many have been used in families for YEARS.......and so many variations on 1 recipe exist, so they are so valuable to families.......but are not new or untried, or unpublished......Hence the problem.......I personally will take a recipe, and change up a thing or to, and make it mine, but the basic recipe has been posted, quoted, and placed in a recipe book, that makes it very hard to make into a recipe book on its own.......{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

And, here is another.......http://www.bb-recipes.com/
The strength of the wolf is the pack, and the strength of the pack is the wolf.......

Hollee. I haven't seen her post here in quite some time.

I think there was also one before that, but that's when i first started posting and don't know the politics of it.

You should go in and suggest this to David. After all he has a show, cookbooks, etc. and he could try some of those recipes that have been suggested on here. He'd be a great one to go to. Ours are tried and true on here and he'd probably be able to big a big push in getting that done!

I copy & paste them in an email to myself. I have a recipe folder in my email account.

I often print out the recipes I find here. There are so many good ones. My hats off to anyone on the board who took the time to organize them in one place. I doubt that QVC (or David) would assist with this project since their job is to get us to buy the cookbooks they sell.

AllRecipes DID come out with a cookbook of many of their 5-star recipes several years ago. I have it and it really is excellent. I don't remember what the name of the book is (I'm at work), but will check when I get home. Something like AllRecipes Best-Loved Recipes. I think it has 400 recipes. It's a good book and I highly recommend it if you can still find it. I'm sure it's around somewhere. Check ebay. Every recipe that I've made from that book has been truly delicious.
