How could this be a mistake?

I was hoping that maybe he put in the account number by mistake. But then it probably isn't as he had changed the permanent mail to address to his address.

You should file a police report!

I would cancel the card immediately and get a new one. My bank did that automatically for me. Also, you should change your password on QVC and if you have more than one email, switch emails. QV. Asked me to do that several months back. If worries me that their site is not secure enough. It has never happened to me with Amazon. I think QVC should have an option for us to use Paypal...it is another layer a hacker has to get through.

You should never give your password or PIN to anyone . Most companies tell you not to. Next time a CS rep asks for it, ask to speak to their supervisor. Of course we all know to never give out our social security number. There was quite a scandal several years back when 60 minutes, I believe, ran a show showing that many companies, hire prisons to process their orders. The inmates are supposedly carefully selected, but still!

DO NOT GO TO THEIR FACEBOOK PAGES! Or if you do, DO NOT COMMENT or "LIKE" as imo that gives them access to all of the information you have on your page, if you have one.

I've noticed they seem to be having lots of problems with their website accout link. I've had to call customer service several times as I can't check in with my password. In order to correct it, the rep asked me for my PIN and then my password which I thought was rather odd.

I monitor all my accounts very closely and bought one of those HALO wallets and a couple of the travel purses with the RFID protection. I began using one of the purses to "practice" with and find it is pretty handy. One of them included another wallet so I'm just going to be safe and use those wallets from now on regardless of what kind of bag I'm carrying.

People don't realize how accessible Facebook is. For example, most employers will, check prospective employees Facebook pages to see what they are up to.

Well considering how they are now so closely affiliating themselves with FACEBOOK, this does not surprise me one bit.

Facebook has had similar issues and just last week, another scandal was exposed. It involved a study they did using members information without their knowledge or permission!

Why are all these hosts, and QVC wanting to push FACEBOOK so much?

I wonder what would happen if NOBODY ordered anything for say even one day or two days? Maybe QVC management would take complaints seriously and stop the nonsense.

Have you noticed the "sound effects" these hosts make now...annoying to the max and it is about something sold out like "oh, oh".

That card can only be used at the Q, so that makes me think that it's the Q that's been hacked! Do you have any other credit cards stored on the Q site to use for purchasing? If so, you need to be watching them as well.

While it sounds wonderful that they are offering to monitor your account for 60 days, the law says if THEY have been hacked they are obligated to provide 1 years worth of free credit monitoring (that's for ALL of your credit cards).

Great information, Buck!

Also, if your debit card is hacked and you report it within 60 days, you will get reimbursed for the charges. Immediately if it's under $750, 2 weeks if it's over.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

Of course, this goes without saying! Did the OP even say she gave her password or PIN to a cs rep?
