Saw jars of Maple Pumpkin Butter at Costco today for $6.99.

This would be good for me as I am sure that I would not use more than one jar per year if that. I do like it but just don't eat much toast, bread or crackers, so a little lasts a long time.

I make this and I use canned pumpkin with my sugar and spices. I put it in the crock pot and stir every so often and I can mine.  The FDA police will probably be at my door someday to haul me in because I don't think you are supposed to can it.  My recipe makes 4-6 half pints and it is usually gone in no time.
