$6.99 to $7.99/pound for Ground Chuck 80/20 which is what I always buy. I think it has the best flavor. Value packs are a bit less. (I'm in the Midwest)

I buy our groceries at BJ's. I usually buy the Wellsley Farms 93% lean ground beef and have been very happy with it. Here's a price breakdown for BJ's lean ground beef:

Wellsley Farms (house brand), 93% lean, $26.49/4lbs, so $6.62/lb.

Farm to Table, 96% lean, $15.99/2 lbs, so $8/lb.

Verde Farms organic 93% lean, $20.99/3 lbs, so $7/lb.

Pre 90% lean, $20.49/3 lbs, so $6.97/lb.

When DH decides to make burgers on the spur of the moment, he goes to Harris Teeter (HT). Here's a breakdown of their prices for lean ground beef:

HT Rancher value pack, 93% lean, $15.99 for between 1.5-2 lbs., so $10.66 - $8/lb.

HT 93% lean (regular pack), so $7.99/lb.

Verde Farms organic 93% lean, so $11.99/lb.

Thomas Farms grass fed, 93% lean, so $8.99/lbs.

HT 96% lean, so $9.99/lb.

Oh, how I love BJ’s!

I have EIGHT one lb packages of Aldi 85/15 grass fed beef in my freezer.  I don't think it's ever been more than $6 in my area.

I can't do all my shopping at Aldi, but there are a few things I will go out of my way to stock up on and beef is one of them.

Been shopping at Publix since 1967. However, of late some things a bit too pricey. I like ground round, 85-15.  Aldi has grass fed, organic 85-15 for $5.99/lb.  It is really good beef.  I do still like Publix, cleanest store ever plus the employees are the most helpful and seem genuinely happy to work there. But when it comes to groceries I don't discriminate, I shop the best deals now.

We get the fattiest whenever possible for our lifestyle...

Usually 80/20 and sometimes 75/25 when available. For us here in Lincoln, SuperSaver has the best deals...$6.98 and occassionally $5.98

When not on sale, $7.98 per lb.

As for any 100% grass-fed, we get a few pkgs of frozen Kirkland burgers every month at Costco.

(the 15-ct of 1/3 lb burgers)...price varies every month.
