I've bought this brand since it's start at Q. after sometime,  I began putting them in the dishwasher now and then.  when the newer copper lined upgrade came last year I bought 4 sets to keep and presents.

I've never put them in the DW, the heat is not holding for 4 hours like stated, goes downhill quickly.

I'm thinking of ways I can place a wrap or foam type of sleeve and make cuts for the handle.

Anyone use a brand with mug like these, an attached handle, which holds drinks hot for at least a few hours?

Thanks

@skittles2 Either Yeti or Hydroflask are solid brands.

That's confusing, you put them in the dishwasher now and then but you've never put them in the DW?  Assuming DW means dishwasher.

I have had many mugs including Yeti but the best so far is Stanley mugs.  All sizes available  Buy on line

I don't think you're supposed to put them in a dishwasher bc somehow it breaks the lining ?? In them. I'm pretty sure that I heard that somewhere.

I have yeti and Primula. (Last TSV)  My primula one at work, poured coffee at 730.  It was still very hot at noon.  My Yeti was gifted to me.  Nice, but mug doesn't fit in my suv cup holder, so use that at home.  They did say that the DW will destroy the copper seal that keeps it hot.  I like to drink my coffee at home, I prefer my polish stoneware bubble mug, it's so pretty.

i dont own this but if your hot drink goes into metal

it will cool down quicker bc metal is cold

try warming it up with really hot water

@rockygems123 I think she meant the new copper lined ones she bought she hasn't put in the dishwasher.

I poured myself a cup of coffee into my Primula tumbler at 7:15 this morning, walked half a mile to work in sub zero degree temperatures, and am enjoying a piping hot beverage ay 10 am.

@rockygems123

I meant I put my original ones in the dishwasher(DW) now and then.

My new ones-the newest version from last year which has the copper layer- I've never placed in the DW, and they're supposed to stay hotter, but they lose heat faster.

I really like the mug shape with the attached handle. I have the tall,  wider at the top travel one, it came with slip on handles, but they've slipped down which was frustrating.
