It's a cold Saturday and QVC went on for a background. Marys on, and all the unhealthy stuff in the kitchen. I'm seeing the Prep ology Rep make bowls and everything junk. If QVC could challenge themselves and these reps to show healthy uses. What an opposite show with Mary and Nutri System.

From dumplings and cake bowls, either didn't entice me.

And, we wonder WHY people need food systems to lose weight. I look at the dumplings and I see SALT and carbs. I see cake bowls and sugar. Show me how I might purchase an item for good.

Well, that's the Q.

@katie1859

That's our country and many others.  We have both sides of nutritional habits, some are changing their ways from their youth with heavily processed foods to healthier choices.  Some may be sticking to their routine diets without any change.  It depends on what you want out of life.

I agree I think it is a shame we have so many unhealthy choices but QVC and other retailers are speaking to their target audience.

Isn't it supposed to be about choice?  I think we should all make our own and respect what others choose.

I've heard told that there are actually other outlets and suppliers that can provide whatever nutritional diet one wants to follow.

I still don't understand why some feel QVC should be all things to all people.

Prepology isn't a food item.  You can use if for whatever you like.  You don't have to take their suggestions for how to use it.

@Etoile308,  I'm finding more and more want QVC to be what THEY want sometimes followed by disparaging both Q and those that don't agree.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

People see what they want to see. A cake was the first item presented with the bowl maker, but then they showed options for eggs, a buffalo chicken salad in a tortilla shell, and biscuits, and then Mary and the vendor rep talked through examples of many other uses for the unit.

(As for the rest of the OP's rant, I typed a lot more here and just deleted it since she certainly won't care, but it's really silly to complain about items you see on TV that you aren't interested in and to make generalizations about everything being bad—just wait six minutes for the next item or turn off the show and save your sanity.)
