I never thought of dry cereal as a snack.
I think I will give it a try.
Pumpkin first, if I can find it.

Ooh - favorite dry cereal as a snack - Reese's! They are kind of like Cocoa Puffs, except that they are choc & pb, AND they are less hard/crunchy. Quite lovely for a not healthy little snack. ![]()
The only weird thing is that they have all this stuff on the box about how healthy they are. Uh, I don't think so. But they ARE tasty!

I am not a huge cereal lover, so I only eat the boring kinds that are good for you for breakfast sometimes. If I am going to eat sugared stuff, it isn't going to be cereal. I'm like that by Kind bars and such too. I'm going to grab a little Snickers and get it over with! LOL!!!

In order to keep from balloning up to the size of Dodger stadium I have to employ mind tricks. Since I'm the type that can't eat just one of anything I focus on stuff that you can sit and stuff and not gain 3 lbs in one sitting.
Stuffing food: popcorn, dry cereal, Sunkist gels, etc

@Mary Bailey If you're looking for the Pumpkin Spice Cheerios I found them at Target. They didn't have them at my market which is usually good at stocking new items.
Also, I noticed the idea of chocolate appealed to some people so I thought I'd mention Special K makes a Chocolate Almond that's pretty good. Okay, really good, lol.
I haven't tried the Chocolate Cheerios yet, but I think I will after reading this thread, along with a few others that also sound really good.

The new Pumpkin Spice Cheerios are delicious. And to save people time, I couldn't care less that they're less than healthy.

Hi @SusieQ_2,
I'll have to look for these. They sound really yummy! ![]()
I love anything with pumpkin in it, especially at this time of year.
We like to eat Cheerios here.
I bet my husband would also like the strawberry Cheerios that were mentioned, too. Will have to look for those, as well! ![]()

If you do best start buying it up in a can . I finally found my Libby's all in one pumpkin pie filling in the can where you just add evp. milk and eggs. I bought as much as I could afford because my Walmart doesn't carry anything any more. they have went down hill.
Best load up on pumpkin my foodie friends LOL
May be a bad yr. always something weather related you know

I buy a whole year's worth of pumpkin pure every fall, now.
BTW, the pumpkin puree where you add your own spices is so much better if you ever decide you might want to try it.
I go pretty much by the recipe on the can except I cut back a tiny bit on the cloves and bump up the cinnamon a fair amount. (you can tell by the smell of the mixture when it's right) ![]()
Oh, and I also cut back on the sugar just a bit.
