Possible Solutions Regarding Problems with Temp-tations.

I recently received my first set of temp-tations. I ordered the 24 piece set in mid-October. So far I have not had any problems. However, I am becoming increasingly concerned with regards to the problems others have had. In my quest to find some answers, I stumbled across a former QVC product by Emile Henry. I know this is an extremely reputable company and their items are sold in many national prestigious kitchen goods stores. Although this item is no longer available through QVC, there is still information posted. Go to: http://www.qvc.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?partNumber=K119249&storeId=10251&sc=K11... and read the information under the "Tips and Ideas" tab located under the photo. The first tab is “Description,” the next tab is “Learn More,” and finally there is the “Tips and Ideas” tab. It is lengthy and detailed and I wonder if some of their suggestions would help prevent common problems in the Temp-tations line. Some suggestions that are made: "...Do not place your dish on a cold or wet surface; Emile Henry dishes can go under the broiler (but not too close – leave a good 4 inches) for a short length of time, as long as the dish is 3/4 filled; When you cook a leg of lamb or a roast, always keep a little liquid or sauce in the bottom of the dish. Avoid adding cold water to your hot dish – this violent thermal shock could damage it. Add hot water instead..."etc. FYI, under the description tab of the Emile Henry bakeware it says that it is oven safe to 500F, but under "Tips and Ideas" it says it is only safe to 475F. I intend to follow some of these tips, keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.
