Pampered Chef Customer Service

This is a small problem, but I'd really like to know if my experience with Pampered Chef Customer Service is typical.

I ordered something online earlier this year, had a problem, and I have not been able to get resolution for more than six months. Our email correspondence is sporadic at best, with them taking weeks (and sometimes months) to reply - always with no resolution. I have provided every bit of information they've requested, but they're clearly not reading my responses because we're just going around in circles. They keep asking me for information and telling me they'll pass my situation along to someone else, and then I hear again from the same guy. Over and over, with long periods of time in between. Apparently they can't find my order information even though I fowarded the confirmation email, etc.

Today I got a response to my most recent email, which I had sent nearly 3 months ago in response to an email from them. They asked me to confirm my email address (for the 5th time!). And they said they can research my problem if I would like them to. Are they kidding? Of course I would like them to! What did they think all of this has been about?

I think Pampered Chef products are generally overpriced, but there are a few I like. I have decided, however, that I will not purchase from them again. The communication is beyond awful, and caring about their customers seems to be very, very low on their list of priorities. Is my experience typical? Thanks to all who reply.
