Good morning.  My GreenPan unit died this am. 😥. I use this in the summer because it doesn't heat up my kitchen like my gas stove does.  It's too old to repair, so I was wondering if any of you have a portable induction burner that you love.  Brand?  Model number?  Thanks so much.

Re: Portable Induction Burners

I cook on one by Duxtop.  Bought it at Walmart for around $100 a few years ago.

I have a Duxtop, it's the cheaper one not the pricey model. And I have a NuWave-it takes FOREVER to heat up.

Re: Portable Induction Burners

I bought one from Aldi's when they had it on clearance for $20-$30. Not sure what the brand is. I also have a single electric burner. We used both when we remodeled our kitchen. They sure come in handy when you need one.

Re: Portable Induction Burners

I'm interested in this topic, too, and hope others chime in with recommendations. Because of some change in circumstances I've been using a portable induction unit I bought years ago from HSN. It's a cute little thing with a rooster design on it but that's about as good as it gets. When cooking on it you get either such a low heat that it doesn't do much of anything OR screaming blue blazes hot! I would really like to get a new one and don't mind how much it cost. Just would like one with sensitive heat controls and maybe a quieter one also.

@PansyBoo The one I mentioned above is excellent.  We have used it quite a bit and are very happy with it.  It has easy way toget the level of consisient heat you need and is not noisy
