I saw this on a cooking forum the other day. People were going to start stockpiling Rao’s lol.

Rao's makes the best pasta sauce in a jar I have ever tasted.  Now I guess it will be changed to cheapen it.  I sure hope I'm wrong.

Oh nooooo. Dang. This can't be good. Except for Rao's. Only sauce I use. Yes, time to stockpile. And probably should be making my own, which is so easy and I never do! (100% Italian too...and I just admitted this! Sorry grandma.)

Yes. I think of Prego as sugar sauce.  Apparently sweet tomato sauces are preferred by younger generations.

Re: Campbell Soup Buys Rao's

Campbell's is already making sure people know there will be no changes to the very popular Rao's products; here is just one example of some press coverage (just click around the Internet for more):

"We're not touching it! Anyone who thinks we're going to touch the sauce, no," Campbell's CEO Mark Clouse said in reply to a question from CBS Philadelphia.

I guess they anticipated some apprehension...  Smiley Wink
