I only regret purchasing only 2 sets of her pasta bowls (or soup, chili, beef stew, salad, mac + cheese, sous vide fish with sauce or side dishes)

The main large bowls are great for salad, pasta, or main courses.

I have used them for two years and truly love them.

I regret not buying her other pieces.

I hope to find them elsewhere. But ,once QVC lets a vendor go ---- its gone.

If you see them elsewhere, please post a note.

Thanks

I first purchased the pasta bowl set...then went back for the bakers, then the casserole. THEN i got some for wedding and Christmas presents.

They are great! I use my bakers every week with NO PROBLEMS. The pasta set is very versatile too.

Tara should switch to Lidia's Chinese factory, IMO.

I agree. I purchased Lidia's three piece baker set and the little mini bakers. This is wonderful and Quality bake ware. (Temptations may sell more, but does not even compare). The design and colors are so beautiful, and classic. And I would buy more items if she returns to QVC!! I have tried several of her recipes and had great results. My favorite is the "stuffed vegetables". I also appreciate her manner......no hype and overly enthusiastic chatter.........just a genuine woman who loves to cook!!!!!

Yes, QVC please bring back the Lidia line. I have several items like the stoneware, knives, and pans. The stainless steel pans are also fantastic with a nice weight to them. Her line of stoneware cleans up well and look pretty on the table.

The one piece I am missing is the round baker. I have not even been able to that piece on eBay in the blue pattern.

Re: Please bring back Lidia Bastianich

Lidia allegedly enslaved an Italian immigrant here in the U.S. for several years on the premise she would find her a job with her cooking show but instead forced her into taking care of an elderly friend in failing health for no pay. This woman then filed a lawsuit against Lidia for damages. Perhaps the Q dropped her because of this scandal? Or perhaps her items did not sell well on the Q?

There has to be 2 sides to this story, if it's true at all. Wouldn't WTTW drop her if Q dropped her for that reason. Lots of people come and go (remember when Potsie from Happy Days sold face lotion?). I have some of Lidia's stuff and love it

I agree. While I do love the colors and whimsy of Temptations, they are cheap. I have had a set of 3 of Lydia's bakers and they are wonderful to bake in and no cracking like the Temptations. The Temptations seems to last about a year for me and then they crack. But I keep ordering more!
