Do you have one? Do you use it? There was one on HSN the other night, but it sold out. I noticed that Cooks Essentials - K35117 has one type, and there are several brands on eBay, and am mostly interested in the 2-pie makers. Since I'm only cooking for me, I thought I could make pot pies and freeze them. I love Marie Callendar's (Chic/Mushroom) pies, but they are so expensive!

Let me know all your comments, please!! Thanks!

I have to be honest, I have one and it does what it was made to do well but I really don't use it very often.

What I do like to make in it is an egg on one side and a piece of either Canadian bacon or a slice of deli ham on the other and then place this on a toasted English muffin . . . works very well but I could easily do this in a fry pan so (for me) it was kind of a waste of money but please note I am not giving it up either at this point . . . I guess hope springs eternal . . . . Smiley Happy

I almost got one that did two small pies at a time and thought it would be good for breakfast and meat pies, but then decided that it probably wouldn't get used because I don't want to make and roll out pie crusts. I may reconsider later. If you don't mind the crust part, I think it would be a great option to have for making your own freezer meals.

It looks like one of those gadgets you'd use a couple times, then store it away and forget about it.

Seems really unnecessary even if it works.

I hesitate to post something negative, but I have to be honest.  I have the two mini pie version from Wolfgang Puck and while I did use it in the beginning, it's now gathering dust.  (Wish I could send it to you, @Mary in MO)

I thought it would be a great way of limiting pies and cakes for DH & I, but until I have a sous chef preparing the proper proportions (say that fast twice), it didn't happen, LOL.  Don't even know how to make the batter for two little cakes without having leftover batter, so then might as well make the whole cake.

Went back to making full size pot pies and fruit pies, and then portioning/freezing some for later.  Much less work and cleaning.
