The first time I made the cheesecake I cooked it for 30 minutes. Disaster. I then looked at the Blue Jean Chef website and the cook time said 50. Cooked it for 60 minutes just to make sure it would be cooked, but I think 55 minutes would have been perfect. I let it cool for an hour on the counter and then put the pot in the fridge and let it cool overnight. My husband is picky about cheesecake. He loved it. It was so creamy. I ususally make a 9" cheesecake in the oven and we can never finish it. This size is nice for when we just want a couple of pieces. I'm trying to continue dieting and not having to eat a whole cheesecake in a few days will help. There are some groups on FB for this digital cooker. We all try to help each other with learning what works and what doesn't.

Although I have the small WP cooker and just received the Q's Perfect Cooker I caved and also got the Wonder Pot. It has some features I really like that are not available on the others. Unfortunately it won't be delivered until early August.

This is really nice but would be too big for my needs. I liked all the functions on it. Maybe they will make a smaller one sometime. I have a new rule that if I buy a new small appliance I have to give one away. I have enjoyed the Perfect Cooker so far. I love the skinny mini also.
Good luck on your purchase.
What a great rule. You got me thinking about what to give away.

@Kindaglitzy I made the French bread and it is delicious and it came out perfect. I did do the 40 minutes first. Flipped it over and did 20 minutes and then 15 minutes resting with the lid on turned off. I think all you have to do is tweet whatever recipe we do by how it comes out. I was pleased and thank you for posting.
So far I have made mac and cheese, 2 cheesecakes, the bread, rice twice, and fresh tomatoes cooked down to a sauce (with a little olive oil and salt and pepper). Then I added dry macaroni to the sauce and cooked it. ALL recipes were perfect. It is just set it and forget it after you get the recipes tweeted to the time it comes out perfect. I am glad I took a chance to try this. I really like the digital panel for time. My label over it is nice and intact. ![]()

The measuring cup that comes with the Perfect Cooker is designed to be used for rice per the instructions (yellow page) received with the cooker. Here is the quote from the instruction page.
"The measuring cup included adheres to rice industry standards. It is about 3/4 of the size of 1 standard U.S. cup. When making rice, we recommend using this cup for measuring both rice and water."
- All other recipes use a standard measuring cup.
