Any favorite menu items? I live in a big city. There are many Paneras. I have never  purchased there. I believe I have tried every fast food place but it.

The online pictures of thier salads look delicious and creative. DH and I frequently split a salad if big enough. The soups sound good also.

Don't miss the strawberry poppyseed salad.  It's seasonal and the best thing on their menu.  Strawberries, pineapple, pecans, mandarin oranges and blueberries over greens with poppyseed dressing.  With or without chicken.

We like to order a sandwich and a full salad and split both.

There broccoli cheddar soup is really good.  I like that you can order a cup of soup and half a sandwich.

Another vote for the strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken.

I've only had their Cinnamon Crunch bagel when someone brought in a box with cream cheese to the office years ago and they were delicious.  Not too many Panera locations nearby where I live..

Not a fan of Panera at all.

Panera's quality has declined during the last few years. I used to be a regular, but no more. Plus the sodium content in most of their salads, soups and sandwiches is very high.

They're not fast food.

I love their chicken noodle soup - I buy it by the quart a few times a month.  Love their chicken salad sandwiches too and their chicken Caesar salad.  Their half sand and soup is a great lunch.  Great pastires too - love their orange scones.  Croissants are delish.

I usually get a pick 2, with soup and salad or soup and sandwich. I like the broccoli cheddar soup, and the chicken cobb salad or the fuji apple salad.

Never ate there but I have gotten their soups at the grocery store: cheddar broccoli & potato both very good. It seems soups of any brand are salty unless you can find a low sodium one.
