Pampered Chef?

Hello! I have been invited to a Pampered Chef party. Has anyone ever been to one of these? Can you give me any advice? I know nothing about this brand or about their home parties. I looked at their website and many items seem quite pricey. I was looking at the stoneware - thought that might be of interest. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
