If it's consolation only pies I can do is pumpkin and pecan. Don't mess with

fruit pies. We all have our specialities. I love bread, so, kept making it till I picked my favorites and stayed with what worked.

Individual thing I guess. Stuff I eat out I know mine is better LOL Worse bread is at Outback. Even I won't touch that mess. The buffet restaurents and Hawaii rolls you buy at store are Ok.
