Mmmm!! haven't thought of that in years.

PB on a sweeter apple, like a red delicious was a treat that would hold us in the long wait between lunch and supper.

            @x Hedge,   We always ate either peanut butter and mayo and bananas (with no pickle) or peanut butter and mayo (no bananas) with a dill pickle on the side.   I grew up in a very southern home, and both of these combos were a standard.😊
