but I trust you guys..I get so many scams from so many places banks, cliaming to be mine, even my ISP ( gotta love that one! they at least put it in my SPAM file)

Anyway, they always ask you to up date your credit card "Your last charge didnt go through, blahbalh blah.. please click on this link to update your info.." Yeah,RIGHT..

Anyway, I got one from QVC, someone I actually DO have credit cards on file wiht.."one of your cards is set to expire in one month, etc"

Does the Q actually DO this? Is this legit? i suppose I can go and see if I have a card that is about to expire, but I guess I wondered if this is something that others are receiving...

anyone?

Just go to your actual Q account directly without going through that email link and check your credit card that way. Then you're always safe.

Thanks for the heads up!

A QVC email appeared in my spam folder.  I didn't open it because it wasn't the email address that's filed with Q.

We occasionally get spam through the filters at work.  They look legit, but it's easy to tell they are spam.  A few people clicked on the links and knocked out our nationwide network.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I needed to update my credit cards on QVC BUT they did not send me any emails. It was on the QVC site, my account, that they had a message to do that...

The last time I had to update a date, I didn't get an email telling me to do it.  It could be something new.  I guess if your card is about to expire, the email must be good.  I wouldn't click on any links.

The Q Card does not expire.  At least mine never has and I've had it since 2008....  I would never reply or even open emails of that nature.  If you do, you're just asking for trouble.   If you have a question about your QCard, I would call customer service...

It doesn't seem like the OP was referring to a Q card but one of the cards she has on file.

I wouldn't click on anything in the email but go directly to QVC to check if one of your cards is due to expire.

As long as you don't click the link in the email you're fine. It does sound like spam though. I'd contact QVC and let them know. Maybe they need to do a warning email?

I have had my e mail address for over 20 years and I get a whole lot of spam mail from credit card companies and the like.

I NEVER click on the web address link that is attached.  If I think it might be legit, I just go to the website from my browser and check to see if everything is OK.

Hmmm,  I've got 3 email addresses,  including one over 20 years old.   I never get spam or anything else from CC companies.   If your CC expires,  your orders will be rejected,  that's how I know.
