Glad you got the pan and rack figured out.  I wouldn't grill in it either, but using the broil feature to melt cheese on pizza (or a casserole) is a great idea.

 

I tested the temp also, and mine seems to be on the money.  S far I am happy too!

HAVE YOU FIGURED out if we need to turn off the oven when , for instance, we go from bake to broil ?

 

Or can we just click on broil directly?

I'm not really sure, but I think you have to cancel one program before going to a different one.  Maybe someone else who has the oven will answer.

True, your probably right best to hit stop, then start over and hit broil.

I"m making a oatmeal cake Sat and I'll have to broil the icing for a few minutes is why I asked.
