I think I would like to make my own in my Ninja blender with some hazelnuts, cocoa powder, and maybe some coconut oil and whatever else it might need. I guess I'd like to make a "healthier" version of it using my own ingredients but would like to find out what's in it so I can try to make a close dupe.
TIA!

Sugar, palm oil, hazelnuts, cocoa, skim milk, reduced minerals whey (milk), lecithin as emulsifier (soy) vanillin:an artificial flavor.

I make my own chocolate. Depending on whether it's for a cake icing, a syrup, pudding, or fudge, I use the same ingredients:
Hershey's unsweetened cocoa
Confectioner's sugar/plain sugar
Corn starch
Butter/Smart Balance
Milk (amount dependent upon what version I am making)
vanilla

This recipe of Nutella sounds yummy. Maybe you can adjust to make healthier.

Found another Nutella recipe using the Vitamix if you have one. It only uses roasted hazelnuts & dark chocolate from Trader Joe's. Instructions for roasting hazelnuts is here. http://joyofblending.com/homemade-nutella/
