Thanks again guys! I went to my parents to visit last week and mom and I went out and bought the Cuisinart Coffee on Demand coffeemaker. She's not used it yet, as she is using up what's left of the coffee she has for her Keurig. I'm sure she will love it!

I love mine and so does my grandmother. We drink coffee throughout the day and it stays hot without burning. You just turn it back on after it goes off after 2 hours. MIne is programmable, so it is ready when I get to the office, where I do most of my coffee drinking. Granny unplugs her's because coffee makers are great starters of home fires, so I also unplug mine and my toaster/toaster oven, anything with a heating element that isn't the stove, hot water heater or the dryer. At work they have commercial electric systems and fire sprinklers, so I don't feel bad about leaving that one plugged in all the time. You can make 2-12 cups with out problem with any grind/type of coffee. OUrs has lasted years and years, about 10 for granny and 9 for me. I pray she loves it and finds her coffee love again!

When I'm not using a K cup for efficiency, I brew with either my single serving or 4 cup French presses.

BY FAR, this method makes the best tasting coffee!

I had my Bunn for about 10 years too Stila and it still works as good as new.

My Cuisinart is almost 10 years old and still brews great & and HOT coffee even after its brewed & sits. It's the style with auto program & shut off, I bought at Kohls (cost $89 which I'm sure I didnt pay after all discounts). I just recently bought another (same) in case it konks out!
