This is HSN's TSV today.  Wish it wasn't so expensive.  Looks great. Very versatile.

Re: New Insta Pot Cast Iron Pot

I got mine earlier this year from Macys for around $149 or so. It is a bit heavy being cast iron but I love it. It's a great slow cooker.

What's wrong with taking the Dutch oven you've already got and putting it on the stove or in the oven?  I don't find that to be a problem.  It's worked for me for years.  If you need precise temperature, set the oven at the temp you want.  This is just another bulky appliance to have to store.

I don't see the point.  Just heat the Le Creuset on the stove, sear, bring to boil, and put it in the oven.  Your oven probably has a timer.

I've seen this at Costco. It's $169 there.

I feel the same way about an air fryer being a redundant appliance. Put your chicken patty in your oven.

At 20.7 lbs (empty), it's way too heavy for me.

My air fryer can cook most foods in the time it takes my over to preheat.

Re: New Insta Pot Cast Iron Pot

I looked at this on the Insta Pot company website a month ago.  Surprised to see it at HSN.  All the reviews on major retailer websites seem to come from Insta Pot so I went to Amazon this morning. Not bad. Some of the reviews mentioned the slow cooker not being hot enough.
