I gave all those to my #3 son.  I just cook for DH and me now and I don't need all that.  I use my little cord-pull chopper, my hand mixer.  I do use my microwave a lot, however.  Our #3 son is the chef at his house.  His wife is the gardener and he is the cook.

@Nonametoday Welcome!🥰 I read this and smiled because she is INDEED fortunate for him to be the cook and SHE the gardener!😁

THANK you SO much for caring to share an unintended smile today!🤗

Moen is my favorite plumbing device.  We got talked into buying the shower components when we "gutted" our home and did new bathrooms, by the girl that was selling them and telling me why she liked them.  It is a never fail.  The Moen is so great and it does not leak, it has great water pressure (unlike the Delta that my neighbor has).

As for the sink faucet, the first time I use it is in the morning when I make coffee.  My coffeemaker is nearby.  I pull my hose over and fill the well of the coffeemaker.

Then after I have cooked my husband's breakfast, I bring the copper fry pan to the sink and spray it a couple times with this and all I have to do after the force of the sprayer removes all egg remnants, is put a drop or two of dishwashing liquid in, spray again with the hot water and it's clean.

I use is so many times per day.  If there is something stuck in the bottom of a glass or the bottom of a cup and I cannot reach into it ,the sprayer does the trick.  No pushing my hand down into a glass and risking it breaking while I am cleaning it.

My husband likes oatmeal occasionally and oatmeal pans are a mess to clean up.  Not with the sprayer.  It loosens the oatmeal and I just swish it one or two times with the sprayer and then like with  the fry pan, a couple drops of dish liquid and hot water spray and voila, it's done. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I love my microwave over the range so much.  DH likes bacon and I prefer making it in the microwave than using a fry pan or the large oven.  So I get turkey bacon, place it on a paper plate, cover it with the splatter cover for microwaves and in 2 minutes, we have bacon.  I pop the toast into the toaster while the bacon is cooking and it's all done simultaneously.

My husband is quite ill and has difficulty walking and my days are pretty much consumed with care for him, so anything that makes our lives easier, I am all for it.

I have that Kuhn-Rikon can opener and have had it for years.  That is so great for opening cans without leaving a sharp edge or without making a mess.  I love it too.  I love my scrub daddy.  I love my mini silicone gloves for removing basket from Instant Pot.  I use them for my corningware as well.  So many things that make my life easier.

Another thing I have loved is my new dishwasher has a 3rd rack, a top tray for utensils.  Great idea.  Wish I had that all the time I was washing dishes constantly when the children were at home.

@Nonametoday Welcome back! I LOVE❤ this impressive post! You should be a salesperson for MOEN!!😁 You described these gadgets and appliances so well, I want to by some and do not need any!😄

I am SO SORRY to read that your dear husband is ill, and am sending heartfelt prayers for him, with HOPES he will be the mend soon!🤞🙏

THANKS for caring to share your gadgets and appliances!🤗

My mom had one like this with blue flowers on the front. That was in the 1970s and '80s. I think she tossed it when she started using a microwave to make water for tea and coffee. Such a practical convenient teapot!

@AuntMame My dad worked for Corning in New York and I had the one with the blue flowers.  I had a whole bunch of Corning and after taking it for luncheons, etc., I have only about 1/3 of the blue that I once had an I have less than that of the French onion (I think it is called). I have some of the French and some more modern pieces but never had a whole set of each.  Dad could buy at a reduced price and his wife (not my mother) did not like it so I got it.  I still use every piece I have but learned to buy aluminum foil for take-to-luncheons, etc.  I understand that.  I have a piece of somebody's dishes from a family funeral and I cannot find the rightful owner.  I must have had 50 serving pieces to return and one I still have after more than a year.

Woman LOL  Years ago I hosted a neighborhood pot-luck party. For weeks after I was trying to locate the owners of serving pieces that had been left behind, as well as help neighbors find their missing serving pieces.

Lucky you having all that wonderful Corningware! It was such lovely, practical stuff.

I have a little milk steamer/frother I bought from QVC years ago that I love and use to make cappaccinos. It was a Q brand. Only $20. I've never seen one remotely like it.

I also have a shaved ice maker very similar to the Sno Cone Maker that Q is currently featuring on its home page as an online special. It was an impulse buy at Target years ago. I love putting shaved ice in sodas and ice tea. Also makes it easy to mix a smoothie in a blender.

@AuntMame I REMEMBER that frother!😁 That was 20 dollars well spent for it to have lasted for many years! I have also never owned the shaved ice maker but can imagine it being used often!😊

THANK you SO much for caring to share your favorites this evening!🤗

The steamer is from Cook's Essentials, a QVC brand. The metal on the inside deteriorated for some inexplicable reason--maybe hard water build up?--but it still works so I'm not complaining.

I am in the market for a new food processor because my Cuisinart which was 10 years old, finally bit the dust.

What brand it yours?  Are you happy with it?

JeanLouise I encourage you to use your Instant Pot more often. It's fabulous for cooking so many dishes. Whenever I make something I check to see if there's a pressure cooking version of it. There's usually at least 3 or 4. I check them all out and make the one that's most appealing.
