I will try the picture first before I go on.  I'm having computer problems lately.

This is a nova salmon on homemade scratch bread toast. So mild and light pink means less salt. Chive Philadelphia cream cheese, roma thinly sliced tomato. a few bit of whte chopped onion if you wish (I did not need it). It is very mild and so good. Great for a luncheon, brunch or snack.  I feel having a freshly toasted homemade loaf of sliced bread with some crunch is best.

I chopped and topped it off for presentation with the long chives cut into slices on top of the toast.

It's good! Engoy.

Just make sure the toast is crispy enough underneath, so leave enough time.  I make my toast in the oven as I do not use a toaster.

And please purchase Vita, the pale pink non salty nova.

I love Nova salmon I have it delivered by the pound, sealed from Katz deli in New York. Amazing flavor mild, and melts like Buddha!    I buy 3 at time, so free ship. I am in calif.  Great recipe

i always toast bread darker, and let sit on top of toaster for a while. I make a head. Then it is super crisp, but not dry I love red onion myself

Katz's is known for their pastrami but it is Russ and Daughters which is just a block or so away from Katz's which is known for their novi and other smoked fish.

I'm tryng Hello  @LavernLuvsShoes ?  It is so good. I forgot to mention I only care for the whippped fluffy type cream cheese.  Whipped just glides on and thats why I did not feel the need for thinly sliced onion.

Plus I do not care for sticky glue like bagels but prefer a homemade bakery toast.  Lavern I did something!! hahaha.

@Franell   Oh my, I looked up Russ and daughters and I am defiantly ordering the Nova Salmon there next time. I have enough for a couple months now. So I will be placing an order on May. The Babka, rye bread,  looked good as well
