This is exactly what I was referring to!! So in your opinion still safe to serve in?
My pieces look like this ... then again, we used to eat off and our food cooked in a cast iron pan that was disgusting but they always said "fine just seasoned"😉and I'm still here!!!
thank you!!

I guess you felt "sarcasm" was necessary ...most here are very aware of what FL stands for as well as OW -- but, thank you for clarifying it🙄 -- oh and look I used more than "8 more strokes"
🤔🤔
Oh and thanks to the OPs aka other posters who answered @amyb. They must be familiar with the term when describing Temptations 😃😃

@amyb I think she means Floral Lace, but not sure why she couldn't make 8 more key strokes.

That's what I've always heard. And it makes sense.

Sorry for those who have had problems with their TempTations pieces.
I have seen them in the Frazer outlet. Too heavy for me and stoneware chips easily, too.
It sounds like they are too high maintenance to live in my kitchen: only serve in it, don't bake and hand wash, etc. No.

When I took Ceramic classes way back...Our teacher said it wasn't safe to eat out of pieces that crazed...

Thanks to comments made in these forums over the years, I will NEVER buy anything made by Temp-tations.

I don't know what is going on with Temp-tations. I will not buy another thing from them. I bought a pair of the oven gloves last week and whem they arrived, there was a "REJECT" label on the box. Everything is made in China. How do I really know if something is all "hand painted"? We know nothing about the process and the type of paint that they use.
What hold does Temp-tations have on QVC? So sick of seeing inferior products and presentations not being accurate. I also quesiion the personal relationshp between Tara and David V. He attended her wedding, so that was very personal.
Seems to me like a conflict of interest.

I wanted to acknowledge your post. I am done with Temp-tations too. If the products are crazing, there is something wrong with with the baking process and they are using very cheap supplies. I used to make ceramics back in the 70;s and from what I have seen, Tara is charging us a lot of money for very little value.

@Whitney400, why would there by any problem with David attending Tara's wedding - any more than any of the hosts or QVC employees attending any celebration as friends? They ARE friends, and live near each other (at least they used to before Tara got married). David has nothing to do with the Temp-tations product line. QVC owns that, not David, so there is no conflict of interest there.
