Mine just shipped!  I can't wait to check it out.

@CLEM

Do a water test first.

Start with something inexpensive to get the feeling for what it can do.

Also...make something where you normally would have to babysit on

the stove...and discover how nice it is not having to watch-the-pot

with your Instant Pot.

Report back. 😀

@sidsmom  Yes, I will do that water/steam test first and then make pea soup.  Have some peas left over and a ham hook .

I have had an electronic pressure cooker which I loved, but gave to a friend who really needed one last year.  So I am looking forward to a new one and just hope I like it as much as the one I had.

QVC doesn't deliver anything.  Fedex and Usps deliver on Saturday and Ups delivers on Saturdays in some areas.  Not in my area and I suppose that's a good thing.

@CLEM one of the first things I made in my IP was split pea soup and it was delicious!  I literally just wung everything in there, pressed a few buttons and had great soup.  I had a CE pressure cooker first but I love the IP much more.  Good luck and let us know how it went!

@momtochloe  I hope this is a keeper.  Have now waited a long time for one of the traditional ones to make an appearance, but nothing so far.
