Traditional turkey and ham dinner with 20 family members. I just had to bring a salad. Brought home four pieces of pie for my DH.

DH and I just had prime rib...no sides, no dessert...that's it.

Delish! 

He bought a 20 lb loin at Costco a few days ago and cut it up into 2 (5-6 lb) roasts and the rest into 1 lb steaks.

One roast we had tonight - we cooked it in our Ronco rotisserie. The other roast we'll have on Christmas,

The steaks got vacuum sealed and put in the freezer with the other roast.

My son and daughter-in-law prepared the traditional turkey stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy meal with green bean casserole, corn pudding, sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs, pumpkin and pecan pie. They did it all and asked all of their guest to bring nothing but their appetite....it was delicious and a wonderful day for six adults and 4 children.

Just DH and I so we opted to get a complete turkey dinner takeout from a local restaurant.  It had everything, including rolls and pumpkin pie and the topping!  Delish. The only thing missing was deviled eggs, which DH made. No fuss, no muss.  We were free to watch the parade and then the dog show!

My brother bought a 13 lb smoked half- cooked turkey from Costco and boy was it delicious!! Had the usual sides--mashed spuds, tons of gravy , stuffing, then we added a green salad, scalloped onions, cranberries --  a few apps and then a few sweets---and you know, it was just the right amount of food--there weren't many of us there this year--maybe 11 people--and usually it is a overload of way too much---but it was very nice--also was able to bring home a good amount of leftovers----my fave--so DD and I will enjoy another dinner of t-day tonight!!
