Are multi-function cookers the new hot kitchen tool? I see Cuisinart has one and now so does Kitchen-Aid. Move over,Ninja? Opinions? Thanks!

I bought the Ninja multi-cooker when it was the TSV earlier this month, but I haven't received it yet. I got it to replace my old crock pot, which didn't have a removable pot and was a pain to clean. I was looking for one that was dishwasher safe, automatically switched to warm when the time was up, and could be used to sear or saute ingredients before being set to slow cook them. I'd been looking for a while when they Ninja came up as the TSV. The Ninja ticked all the right boxes, so I grabbed one.

I like them. If I didn't have pressure cookers-I would have the Emeril multi-cooker.

I've been a fan since we bought a Technique multi-function cooker from QVC way back when. We wore it out - was nice to be able to brown and then slow cook.

Moved onto a WP Versacooker, and we're in midst of wearing it out also. Bought a Ninja 3-in-1 when they were on clearance, so we have a backup, but it cooks a little too fast for me. In any event to still beats the crockery cookers when it comes to versatility.
