I am definitely a milk chocolate girl.
I also love milk chocolate with marshmallow, mint, peanut butter, coconut (oh, how I love coconut!), and numerous other things. Haven't had a milk chocolate covered cherry in ages. That would be nice! ![]()

While my DH loves dark chocolate, it smells burnt ( or maybe the word is burned) to me. On the rare occasion I crave chocolate, a Hershey bar with almonds will suffice.

Is this a question? Both & if anyone wants to send me the chocolate they don't want I will be more than happy to take it. Yes, I don't need more sugar but it's holidays . . My daughter melts nestle choc. chips dips a mini pretzel in it and I love it. Only get that once a year, put my order in for Christmas. She better come threw I am waiting love that so much. I know I can buy Flips but love my Daughter's better. Oh put some mint extract in it too.

Definitely dark chocolate. To be specific, 72% cacao.

I'm pretty cautious about avoiding chocolate, one of my most violent "triggers", but TraderJoe's SIMPLY LITE Chocolate Bars, Milk OR Dark, are a periodic reward for me when I need one.
They are sweetened with Malitol, a sugar alcohol that does cause digestive problems for some people, but happily not for me, and I only eat 3-6 little squares, which seems to work as a portion size within my tolerance.
For good or for bad, our TraderJoes has a WONDERFUL (or terrifying) selection of hopefully healthy but pretty calorie laden sweets.

I WAY prefer Dark, but I love Milk chocolate too! (good milk chocolate)...

I like good quality dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Quality of the chocolate - that's the key for me. I don't like to waste the calories on mediocre chocolates - like Russell Stover, a very mediocre product.
With respect to Mounds and Almond Joy...Mounds, of course, is dark chocolate with coconut filling and Almond Joy is milk chocolate with coconut filling AND almonds on the top. I've always wondered why a dark chocolate version of Almond Joy has never been sold. I like the almonds, but would prefer dark chocolate so why not sell an Almond Joy Dark bar - dark chocolate with coconut filling AND almonds on the top?
Surprisingly, Aldi's sells some German chocolate that is quite good and reasonably priced.
