Milk or Dark Chocolate?

Do you prefer milk or dark chocolate? While I like a Mounds candy bar once in awhile, I am mainly a milk chocolate fan.

What is your favorite combo? Nuts, PB, coconut, plain etc. I like milk chocolate w/almonds, PB.

A local candy company, Gertrude Hawk, makes boxes of chocolates called Smidgens. Little bite size chocolates in any combo you would want. They are lethal little bites of goodness. 2 PB Smidgens and a cup of good coffee. Just enough to make a person happy.

Milk would be my choice but I don't really like more than a tiny bite to get the flavor - unless it's filled with coconut. Not in to sweets except for that tiny flavor as a refresher once in a while. Sugar just isn't my thing.

Dark chocolate all the way ! Even when I was a kid I looked forward to holiday packages from my German grandparents that always contained dark chocolates. The slightly bitter mixed with the super sweet fillings, ahh, that's my catnip !

I always say "sugar is good for what ails you!" I'm a bad influence I know.

My mother looks at the dessert menu in a restaurant before the main menu.

(and she is underweight!)

Hers and my favorite are dark chocolate.

I love dark chocolate preferably Truffles from Graham's in Geneva, IL. I am also fond of their white chocolate with dark chocolate inside that is a Truffle.

If I receive a box of mixed dark and milk chocolate, I pick out the dark chocolates and throw them away. It's bitter and nasty to my palate.

@Kachina624 , if you were my neighbor, you could throw them my way, and I would give you the sickly sweet ( for me ) milk chocolate. 😻
