Re: Mackenzie Childs Cake Carrier

They tend to be something people use alot or not at all. I love to boil water for tea and hot cocoa in Winter. I have a cheap tea kettle and use it all the time. But I couldn't justify that price which had gone up $5 from last year. Still, the flower market ones are so pretty.

@gigy Hi...I bought the cake carrier a few months ago...I got it in green flower market...I love it...it's pretty heavy....I used the platter for a cookie tray at Christmas time.  I have quite a few pieces.

I'm originally from the Fingerlakes region of NY and been to the MC farm on Cayuga Lake many times....it's  beautiful....DW

What makes this line so expensive?  Where are the products made?  They are attractive.

They call it enamelware but one piece I was checkng out said made in China so not even home grown. Why so expensive then is a good question. Maybe the handpainting is done here.
