Re: MY MOM'S CONGEALED SALAD FOR CHRISTMAS

Please forgive the format from my tablet! I tried to make corrections. I hope you can read this and will try the recipe. Mom always made this for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Vistors would look at the salad and ask what it was but then after finally trying it would ask for the recipe. Mom would provide a container to take some home with the recipe included.

I'm sorry. I was being rude. {#emotions_dlg.blushing} What with a few other threads about this and - well, it doesn't matter because I was being rude.

I didn't read it because it was in all caps, but I hope people who like this sort of thing are pleased.

Re: MY MOM'S CONGEALED SALAD FOR CHRISTMAS

I am a dummy with computers and tablets and do not know how to post pictures. Left over salad was put in a small pyrex bowl. I will be good and let DH enjoy. I love this with dressing and a slice of turkey but DH will just eat this like a bowl of ice cream!

Chickenbutt: No...... you are never rude! I laugh and enjoy your post! I did not notice all the caps.... I was worried about my spelling and trying not omit any ingredients. Chickenbutt: Please forgive me. I always read your replies and appreciate you tips and suggestions. I just wanted to share a recipe .

Re: MY MOM'S CONGEALED SALAD FOR CHRISTMAS

I would eat the whole bowl if I could. I love these jello salads--congealed--whatever you call them. I posted on the other "congealed" post. Last weekend, I got take out supper from a cafeteria, and on their menu is "lime congealed salad." I most certainly got that.
