CLEM, I am fairly sure I saw them at Olli's if you have one in your area.

I hate the hand shredders.  I am my own worst enemy in the kitchen.  I cut myself on kitchen knives and burn myself on hot oven stuff.  Not political.... but there is no way I would ever buy a weapon.  I would not last taking it out of the box.  LOL

@bonnielu if you don't find your in house mandolin I would highly recommend OXO's handheld variety.  I have had mine for years but now I see that have a set that is not only a mandoline but also has shredding and julianne blades.  I am a disaster in the kitchen so please know these come klutz approved!

@BeccaLou  Sorry we don't haven Olli's, but I will check them out at Kitchen Kapers or Amazon.  Thanks for the suggestion.
