Hamilton Beach Flexbrew 2-way coffee brewer. One side does k-cups & the other does a pot. You might want that if you have guests. Check it out...

For a long time, we had the Hamilton Beach (49981A) Single serve coffee maker. BBB also has an Oxo pour over that has gotten good reviews. Right now we are using a Cuisnart. Always wanted to try a Bunn. Between the two of us, we make about 3 cups a day.
Guess it depends on your kitchen space and budget also.

We will always have a Keurig. DH is down to two cups/day then uses the hot water for hot tea (uses tea bags) and hot chocolate (uses packaged coco mix). For me, I’m a coffeeholic in addition to being a chocoholic.
We take a personal size Keurig on vacation (if driving) or over nighters.
If I ever used a coffee pot, it would be a Bunn same as my Missouri sister. It’s not only hot and good, it’s quick.

Another vote for Mr. Coffee. Inexpensive and durable. It's hot enough for my taste.☕️
Replacement parts are easy to come by (pot, lid, basket).

I have a small Keurig since I only drink one cup a day. Mine is plenty hot. Never had an issue with the coffee not being hot enough.

i dont like coffee out of keurig.
Yep - used to love Keurig but after the first one died, the 2 following that just didn't last - one leaked and the other was very loud.
Replaced with the cheapest Mr. Coffee I could find that had the auto cutoff after 2 hours. Paper filters kept slipping and I'd have a pot of grounds - Walmart sells those gold fine mesh filter baskets referenced above - solved that issue and I've used that ever since.

If you love Dunkin Donuts coffee like I do, the BEST coffee is the packages you buy at their store. They sell one pound packages ground and whole bean. I buy the whole bean and grind my own beans.
The Dunkin Donuts coffee you buy a grocery store is not the same, I have no idea why but it's not, I was rather disappointed.
Coffeemakers. Mr Coffee 4 cup brew (available at Walmart, not sure if Target carries them too)
If you truly want to enjoy the freshness and taste, buy the whole bean coffee and get yourself a coffee grinder (they are not expensive)
Enjoy.

I've had the Mr. Coffee 4 cup for years, I buy Starbucks beans & grind them myself, so I understand love of coffee.
In the past, I have used the Melitta system, so easy and if you want hot hot you can really control the heat. You would have to heat up water, either on a stove top or in an electric kettle, pour the water over the filter and make the amount you want. You can use any coffee, you just put the coffee grounds in the open filter.
Melitta offers different size pots but I also found this - 16 oz cup
I had a Keurig, didn't care for it either

I have this ceramic cone and use the small Melitta filters with it. Just pour the hottest water that you desire into it and have a nice cup of coffee.

I, too, only have one or two cups of coffee a day. I have a good, old fashion glass Pyrex on the stove percolator. I can make as little or much as I want, use any type of ground coffee, and get it as hot as I want. I don't even know if they sell these in stores anymore, I got mine off of eBay.
