Re: Lofthouse Sugar Cookies Question

We just got some at BJs. I don't know if they were actually Lofthouse - but they looked like them and tasted like them. They were so good they are gone already and I can't look at the container to see what brand. LOL.

Plus it was quite a few more cookies for the same price as we pay for a less amount at the grocery store.

Good luck finding them!

@cuddlesmama - Perhaps they're just popular in your area at this time of year and are sold out? I checked my local Walmart and Kroger affiliate (Smith's), and both have at least one variety of frosted Lofthouse cookies in stock (and that's in addition to the frosted cookies they make in house).

Hi,

I did go to Walmart this morning, but they are not Lofthouse they are the stoer brand. Thanks

@cuddlesmama.  As I said above, they are exactly the same cookies at Walmart as they've always been.  I have a package in my kitchen right now.

Thank you.  I will purchase those. Thanks again!! Merry Christmas!!

Re: Lofthouse Sugar Cookies Question

Make your own. They are so easy to make. One year I made 60 d'z. For Christmas.

I posted recipe in Recipes under Holiday cookies and treats.

Try the sugar cookie recipe on the Jiffy Baking Mix box.  It taste like Lofthouse cookies.  The dough will be sticky.

I make a butter cream frosting and let the cookies sit & the frosting set up a bit.

The recipe posted using a cake mix is very good.

Re: Lofthouse Sugar Cookies Question

Walmart had a ton of the holiday Lofthouse on sale yesterday.  $1.00 per box.  Bought several to freeze.  can't beat that price.
