Merry Christmas Everyone!
I have what is probably the first generation of this dura pan. I'd like to use it for a butterflied leg of lamb that I'm preparing today. The recipe calls for 425 degrees for about 1/2 hour then reducing the temp to 375 (or it might be 350).
Can anyone here remind me of the maximum safety temperature for this pan? If it's 350 or 375 I won't use it. But the rack is nice and that's why I'd like to use this pan.
thank you! Hope you all have a wonderful day!

@Thats Me ---I just checked a durapan stock pot---and they said oven safe to 400*--HSN only had 3 curtis Stone pans-- all stock pots---I wouldn't use at 425* for hours but maybe for just 1/2 hr wuld be safe. happy day to you too!

If it's the dura Diamond that is a black interior rather than the flecked newer pans, it's safe to 450, but the lid is only safe to 400.
The newer stuff is only good to 390 with the lids good to 350.

@Icegoddess @wagirl @@Hi, and thank you! It's a black flecked interior 🙁 so shouldn't go as high as I need. Good to know!
