Can you put Lock n Lock in the microwave ? Well I did and it start to melt. I was just heating something for about a minute. I put my glad containes in the microwave and nothing happens.

Yes, I do it all the time.I remove the lid & turn it upside down.I never had a problem.

I've never had any LnL products "melt" or disfigure in the microwave!  And I've put them in there (of course with tops off & laid on the top) 100s of times.

In fact, I've never had any issues with LNL ever.  And I have too many to count😉

@hovis  I use Lock&Lock in the microwave all the time with no melting.  That is strange.

we put them in microwave and dishwasher all the time with no problem. once i put it in microwave and forgot to unlock it and i could not get cover off so i thru it away. i put them in bottom rack of dishwsher and top rack with no problem. good luck. i would call lock  and lock or where ever you bought them and f you got it from qvc there very good.

I use Lock and Lock in the microwave every morning and sometimes in the evening. Never have had a problem. As I understand Chris to explain, as long as you don't clamp down the lid on the L&L, you will be fine. I usually cover the container with a paper towel on top so there is no splatter. Or Lori Greiner's magnetic microwave covers, which has vents  in them.

I've never had any problems putting Lock & Lock in the microwave (although I don't know if it's a very good idea putting any kind of plastic in the microwave.)  Oh well!

I put my LnL in the microwave never had any issues, but today when I got into a LnL with crackers inside, they were a tad stale, same thing happened with some potato chips....wonder why????

Same here. I've used L&L for years and never had any melt.

@hovis It should not have melted. If it's not old, call QVC and if they don't help you call Lock and Lock. Someone should be able to replace the item, especially if it's relatively new.
