I’ve only had one tab break off of a very old container lid, but I can still use use it. It’s a small lunch box  size container.

Two different lids from a new set of round bowls have not snapped off, but they will not snap in place.  When I try to lock them, they pop open.  Only one tab on each lid will not stay in the down position. The rest of the tabs work fine.

I have to say, I like the older L&L better. The opaque colored lids on the new sets seemed to be made of a different material. The see through colored lids are much better.

I also have had several lids that the tabs broke off... The container is still good but I find it doesn't hold the freshness that well as it did.  Bought some muffins and stored them in a large lock and lock - within a few days I found mold... Muffins or lids???

Carney, Yes, Yes, And Yes. The lids look fragile even before you get a chance to really use them. I think I will pass on anymore of this product. Now the cereal cannisters are Our must have, it is such a shame that the customer service for Lock N Lock is so difficult to deal with. Nothing like the past. I was a crazy shopper for them couldn't get enough of them, then they seem like seconds from a dollar store, and at that price. Just maybe think about the disrepect we get as a customer. I was so angry One day I wanted to just grab the girl through the phone and just make her see my collection of bad product. Pooor Chris Pryme !!

The only breakage I've had was when I dropped a piece out of the freezer.

That's on me, as I do understand the plastic/frozen deal.   Smiley Happy

Other than that, I still have ones I bought when they first had them in the US and many of those are in constant, daily use.   I've purchased pieces and sets over the years and find that they work and hold up equally well.

The company is in S. Korea but now some of them are made in China and some of them are made in Vietnam.  I've not seen any difference in quality between the three of them.

Yes they don't work in the freezer, because I have them slide out of the crazy freezer, and break,I would freeze hotdog sauce and  I always left an expansion gap it was still difficult to remove the sauce , unless Iremembered to thaw it first. Which we all know is always is forgotten easially . Some Good , some bad !!

I threw away all of my old plastic ware years ago and solely have all L&L containers. Probably for the last 10 years I've been using L&L's. I have NEVER had a tab break off! I am not careful with mine at all and nothing has stained, broken, warped....nothing. They are indestructible in my opinion.
