[coffee drinker]

$100 for this toaster is out of my price range.  But wait, it's a touch screen with pictures.  How did we ever get along without this toaster?  I'm completely satisfied with my $40 Cuisinart.

@coffee drinker   I agree... My Cuisinart toaster is all I need.  I am also happy with my 10 yr old Farberware percolator coffee pot as backup to my Keurig.

The fancier an appliance becomes with buttons, icons, pre-sets, timers, clocks, pictures, programs and options,  the more likely it is to breakdown and become worthless. 

I've tossed many a lofty coffee maker with fancy options that soon broke down. 

For toast and coffee, the simpler the easier and better.

Give me a Proctor Silex toaster and Mr Coffee coffee maker and I am all set. Plus, they last forever.

its true!

i have an electric kettle and you can find some pretty cheap, BUT, i HAD to have a SMEG. lol

i use my breville countertop oven for toast, but it does so many other things. well worth its price.
