Love lima beans. Big, little, white or green. The big white ones, I make with a chunky ham hock or two. I like collards, mustard greens or kale with it. And corn bread. I do cheat and buy the corn bread sometimes.Woman Wink It's also a surprisingly good dish to dip buttered rye bread into.

A favorite winter supper. Another week or two here and it will be just chilly enough to make it.

@beach-mom

FYI - HyVee has frozen Baby Lima Beans in bags. Bought a couple of them earlier this week and have microwaved some the last two nights. One time in some soup and the other in a stir fry. Both turned out delicious.

Since my regular grocery store hasn't had frozen lima beans, I'm delighted to know where a good source is! HTH

i love lima beans.. everytime i go food shopping, i buy 2 bags of them.. i eat them plain with just some butter and spices, or i mix them in rice... i buy the frozen ones, and cook them on the stovetop.. never tried the micro ones. i will try them this week when i go to store..
