This sounds silly,  but...."there are no silly questions)  hmmmm,  well,

 under the specs  of the 6.75qt oval oven-  the height is 6+ inches.  thats quiet tall and too tall for me to cook safely, as I'm a smidge under 5ft. 

the 5.5 quart height is 5+"s.  

To my question;  are the measurements with the lid?  If anyone has either of these could youtell me what the pot height is without the lid, please.

I don't want to stand on a stool just to get my arm over the pan
