Le Creuset?? Buying Today

I have asked about this line before and now armed with my Macy's Thanks For Sharing gift card and a 20% off VIP coupon, I am ready to purchase. Am definitely going with a 3.5 qt round but am wondering about the braiser. It is just me and hubby at home so I was going to put off buying a larger round or oval until the F&F in May. I want to get two usable and practical pieces today. Any comments or opinions on the braised?
