Le Creuset 1Qt Oval Dutch Oven

While shopping I found the 1Qt Oval Dutch Oven and reviewed the measurements.  QVC lists as 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 2 3/4 while the Le Creuset Website lists 9"L X 4 1/4H X 4 3/4W.

 

Does anyone here have this D/Oven from QVC and able to confirm the measurements?  QVC does not identify how the measurements are to be applied, but either way it sure does appear to be much tinier than one from Le Creuset Co.

Something is wrong there.  First of all 4.5x4.5 wouldn't be oval anyway.  It would be round. 

 

I DO have a couple LC 1qt enameled cast iron pots and the diameter is more like 5.75" by 5.75" by 2.75" high.

 

At least the dimensions you show from LC would/could be an actual oval, but it would be more than one quart, for sure!

 

Might be comparing apples to unicorns.  Smiley Happy
