Anyone know where I can find one? I'm tired of hard butter and having to take it out of the fridge hours before serving.

Amazon has them. They are known by other names. Butter keeper and butter dish.

I remember they had a website, after QVC, but the quality had dropped. I still have my original one, I believe, and a couple more I got from the website. But those chip super easily, unlike the quality of the ones QVC sold initially.
But, really, it always rather bothered me that it wasn't sealed up (I'm neurotic like that with food stuff), so I've been just using a Lock & Lock container that is the right size.
Only thing is that when it gets hot it's harder to find a cool enough place for it, but I usually have some pretty cool corners in my kitchen. ![]()

We've used a butter bell for years. Keep it on the counter. Never a problem. Love soft salted butter

I agree with the up side down Lock & Lock. The one I use holds 2 sticks. Americans Test Kitchen chose the actual L&L Butter Keeper as the best, but I don't think you can buy it separate. It is usually in a set of other pieces.

Loved my butter boat. After it broke I got the Le Crueset butter bell. It works the same way to keep the butter cool and soft but you must soften the stick and push it into the bell . The butter boat allowed the stick to remain in stick form.

I've used a Pyrex rectangular box all my married life. I holds 4 sticks if you want. I think they called refrigerator boxes. Mine has an embossed cow on the lid.

I purchased my butter boat from Amazon. You have to be very careful buying a butter boat. There are three parts to a butter boat...the bottom container that is half filled with water, the butter container that fits into the water container, and the lid. You have to make sure that the one you purchase has an unglazed bottom on the container that actually holds the butter and then sits in the water. There are many of so-called butter boats out there that are glazed on the bottom of the butter container. Butter boats work based on the process of evaporation. A process of evaporation takes place through the unglazed bottom, which helps to keep the inside of the container (where the butter is) cooler.
One of my sisters bought a butter boat that was glazed on the bottom (a common error in the manufacturing process). Her butter melts in the butter container. My butter boat has the unglazed bottom of the butter container, which keeps my butter in stick form, but spreadable.
If you purchase your butter boat on Amazon, read the reviews...which will tell you if the bottom of the butter container is glazed or unglazed.
