I agree. Last year, or the year before, they had a 2+qt round dutch for $129. It was great. I bought 4 for my daughter's and such, if it's a similar item I'm buying for myself this time. Every one of the giftee's love that piece, and it holds more than it appears. Cooks for 1 or 2, to many servings.
Yes, it was a 2.75 qt that they later dropped to $99. That was my first white Le Creuset pot. QVC is now carrying the LC rice pot and a 6.75qt risotto pot that are both sought after pieces, so my guess is one of those will be a TSV sometime this year if not in January.
I'd be interested in the rice pot for good grains and oatmeal. I've perused the wide dutch for awhile, but I think it may be too heavy. I had a Caribbean 6.75 oval dutch, it was beautiful but HUGE.
One of my pieces is a Caribbean 5qt brasier, love it, versatile, but it is heavy. May go for the 3.5qt.
I keep my LC on stove top, but I do have to lift to and from lower oven- only if I'm making an oven dish. I can slide it to the sink, but at some point I do have to maneuver it at the sink- draining, cleaning, etc.
I hope Q restocks the 2.75 round, but at a lower price than LC's site. I may do a 4.5-5.5qt round too.
I'm also going to buy one of the roasters- either 5qt or 7, however the 7 may be too heavy. But I would be mostly roasting veges, or salmon, so it shouldn't be extra heavy as it would for casseroles, and a 7 would give me option of handling a larger amt.
I wish the one here that comes with the trivet was in some shade of white or light cream, either gloss or matte.. while the meringue is nice, it's not quite what I want.
I also love the graphite shade that only Crate & Barrel carries.

I've had the 2 qt round Dutch oven for a few years now. It is the most used vessel in my kitchen. You are right, it holds a lot more than you would think. I buy a bag of small red, Yukon gold or fingerling potatoes... throw them into that little pot and mix them around with some vegetable (or olive) oil, salt and pepper... stick it in the oven at 375° for an hour or so and when I open it up I have the most delicious potatoes. I don't even bother to stir.. just put it in the oven and leave it alone. I love that little pot. I don't really need another, because I also have a huge LC Dutch oven, but if it is the TSV and the price is right, I may buy a second one.
What I don't like is when the TSV is a mashup of two different things.. like a braiser with a grill lid. I don't have a braiser and could really use one. I guess no one knows yet what the TSV will be?
ETA: I see someone also mentioned rice. Well, that little 2 quart makes the most perfect rice. I add the rice and water, let it boil for 10 minutes and move it off the heat. Don't open. Just let it sit for another 15 minutes or so... perfect rice every time.

I really do want that pot, in addition to the others I mentioned.
I know other places have the 2.75, but I'm waiting for a lower price than $250, some place will have lower it at some point.

Sur La Table and Williams Sonoma have had that size for $150 or less frequently.

The 6.75 shallow wide is heavy but I have used so much more than I ever thought I would and have been happy with it.

@skittles2 if you have a local Williams Sonoma it might be worth the effort to check if they have any on clearance that is not advertised on their website. I was in a local WS last weekend and they had a number of pieces on sale. A few years ago I picked up a brasier at an end of year clearance.
