Sending mine back.  No power.  Used it today to mash sweet potatoes.  My hand mixer did a better job.  Couldn't even cream softbutter.

Sounds like it may have some of the packing material stuck in it some wheres cutting down on the power. Maybe the electric plug in thing on the wall is something wrong.

The only packing in it was a piece of styrofoam around the bowl.  My husband check the plug with his electrical meter.  Nothing wrong with the plug.  It just doesn't do the job.

Well, not surprised. I bought a full size pink KA mixer and arrived with the big side bolt sticking out and at the front the pink paint was scruffed up.

On the box it said If issues don't call Q call KA, did and they said "no, the bolt isn't suppose to be sticking out". (Big silver bolt in the motor housing)

so, they sent me a postage paid box for the return, they sent me a new pink and I was so happy to finally get a pink they always sell out U know.

So, ok, I try it out and the beater kept hitting the bowl, no matter how I adjusted the screw it kept hitting and dinging the bowl.

 I just called Q and I was well within the return window and they gave me back most of my money. They sent a return box too. I was satisfied to get anything so didn't quibble over not getting the entire cost. Waited till It was credited to my charge card and went up to Bed & Bath and bought a KA red mini off shelf. I figure Q has shp problems from factory to Q and I would have better luck with stuff coming into B&B. Already had my Cuisinart full size, so, gave up on the full size pink and got a mini. B&B had big choice of 2 colors red or black (not even white at the time). The red mini was a joy use it all the time for smaller mixing

That pink is purdy, but, alas, didn't work out for me.
