In the market for one..... could I be so lucky to know if there is a TSV soon? Just wondering.....

@soozer : Better deals if you shop locally and easier to return if necessary. If you have a Bed Bath and Beyond they have deals plus 20% coupon. If you have a Sam's Club or other discount clubs. When Sam's had a deal in November they had a bonus deal and upgrade to bigger wattage. Plus if you can wait considering the Mother's Day deals. Just a few suggestions.

Depending on what you like to make, be aware there are two bowl sizes and weights of mixers.
I did big pound cakes in the smaller one, though.

I have no inside intel but I would bet on a TSV around Easter or Mother's Day.
There were a lot of raves for the last TSV that maybe others who purchased can chime in on.

Dillards has Cuisinart's in pretty colors now.
I gave my K Aid stuff away.

Keep an eye on Kohls. When I got mine, many years ago now, I was able to layer coupon codes, and I think I had some Kohls Kash to apply so I saved a bundle and still got free shipping. I've gotten vacuums that way too.

Best Buy typically has pretty good deals on KIitchenaid mixers around the big shopping holidays. I got mine at their Black Friday event in 2020.

They're still trading on their long ago name recognition. Back in the day they were great. good heavy materials and parts. Now, it's cheaply made
and putting those beaters on takes Albert Einstein. When you first get it the beaters aren't set right so they're either not far down enough to mix what you got or they're too low and they bang the bowl back and forth.
so, you adjust the screw thing that regulates the height of the beaters and never get it just so so, plus you have to keep on fiddling with the screw to get it back to where you had it.
SMEG for me. Out of the box it was ready to go. I know nobody can afford them, but, if you can go for it. I got mine few yrs ago when it wasn't quite so expensive (444) now it's over 500 I think.
